Stacy Michelle Kramer and Joshua Reuven Kuckley were married Nov. 16 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington. Rabbi Michael Safra officiated.
The bride, 33, works in Manhattan as the director of business development for Grassroot Soccer, a nonprofit organization in Hanover, N.Y., that focuses on global health in sub-Saharan Africa. She graduated from Northwestern and received a master’s of public health degree from Columbia.
She is a daughter of Judy F. Kramer and Howard L. Kramer of Bethesda, Md. The bride’s father is a partner in the Washington office of Murphy & McGonigle, a law firm based in Manhattan. Her mother, who is retired, was a public health contractor for the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health in Bethesda.
The groom, 31, is a vice president and head of equity research at Abner Herrman & Brock Asset Management, an investment management firm in Jersey City, N.J. He graduated from Washington and Lee University. He is also on the board of See Far Housing, an affordable housing organization in Rwanda benefiting the Agahozo Shalom Youth Village.
He is a son of Roberta M. Alpert and Samuel B. Kuckley of Manhattan. The groom’s mother is a senior vice president for product development at Evolvere Health, a company in Greenwich, Conn., that provides integrated health management service. His father is an assistant vice president of Nuveen, an asset manager in Manhattan.
The couple were set up by a mutual friend and had their first date at Henry’s Public, a restaurant in Brooklyn.
