Pia Serena Cincotti and Michael Herzenberg were married Nov. 23 at the Metropolitan Club in New York. Mario Biaggi Jr., a friend of the couple who became a minister with American Marriage Ministries for the event, officiated.
The bride, 39, is a musical theater writer who wrote “How Deep Is the Ocean?” The show was a part of the New York Musical Theater Festival and played at the Theater at St. Clement’s in July 2012. She is writing another musical commissioned by Grove Entertainment in New York. She graduated from Fordham.
She is the daughter of Cynthia A. Cincotti of New York and the late Fred P. Cincotti. The bride’s father was an assistant attorney general in New York. Her mother was an art director at 17 Magazine, Good Housekeeping and Golf magazines and is now a real estate agent at Douglas Elliman in New York.
The groom, 48, is a journalist for NY1 in New York. He graduated from Tulane.
He is a son of the late Roberta I. Herzenberg and the late Rudolf Herzenberg, who lived in Santa Fe, N.M. The groom’s mother was a mental health therapist, working with the Santa Fe County jail. His father retired as the owner of a dress manufacturing business in New York.
The couple met in November 2014 on Tinder.
