For fall, Simon Pearce, the Vermont company known for tableware and decorative accessories, has become pumpkin central. The company has introduced a new line of beautiful art-glass pumpkins, crystal clear with intricate twisted stems, for your elegant harvest or Thanksgiving table. They’re a more elaborate version of the plain large glass pumpkin the company has made in the past (which is still available, $230). The new Pumpkins With a Twist come in three sizes: small (about four inches, $125), medium (about six inches, $175) and large (about nine inches, $240). There are also glazed pottery pumpkins in sunset, a honey tone, and candent gray, medium ($165) and large ($230), all with no practical purpose beyond admiration.
