Tracy Geltman and Jenifer Foote are to be married June 16 at the 91st Street Riverside Garden in New York. Suzanne Mondo, a retired justice of State Supreme Court in Kings County, is to officiate.
Ms. Geltman (left), 38, is the chief operating officer of Stacey Mindich Productions, the producer of “Dear Evan Hansen” on Broadway in New York. She graduated from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.
She is the daughter of Beth P. Geltman of New Milford, N.J., and the late Howard S. Geltman. Ms. Geltman’s mother is a critical care registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey; her father was a mortgage broker, who owned United Investors Financial, which was in Park Ridge, N.J.
Ms. Foote, 42, an actor, has appeared in the ensemble of a dozen Broadway shows, and is currently in the ensemble of “Tootsie” at the Marquis Theater in New York. She appeared in “Hello Dolly” in 2017-18 and “She Loves Me” in 2016. She graduated with a degree in dance and drama from the University of California at Irvine.
She is the daughter of Janice A. Foote and Timothy J. Foote of Sacramento. Ms. Foote’s father is an independent certified public accountant in Sacramento. Her mother is a first-grade teacher at Grand Oaks Elementary School in Citrus Heights, Calif.
The couple met in 2010 while working on the Broadway musical “Rock of Ages.’’ Ms. Foote was the show’s dance captain, and Ms. Gelman the company manager. After they began dating, they quickly realized they were both fans of the late writer Nora Ephron, especially the way she saw New York City. As a nod to her, they are to marry at the location used in the final scene in the film “You’ve Got Mail,” which was directed by Ms. Ephron.
