The artist Yuki Matsuo, whose specialty is the intersection of food and design, has been hand-sewing stuffed fabric interpretations of various edibles, mostly meats, since 2005 for her company Yuki & Daughters. (She’s in something of a tradition: Think of the sculptor Claes Oldenburg and his giant soft BLT.) The Whitney Museum of American Art has been selling her pieces since it moved downtown in 2015, and now offers her fabric hot dogs. They are about six inches long and come with assorted toppings. Other designs include kielbasa, kosher salami, a pretzel and a black-and-white cookie.
Yuki & Daughters Soft Sculptures, $32 to $63 ($28.80 to $56.70 for members), Whitney Museum Shop, shop.whitney.org.
