This fall, the New York City Wine and Food Festival will mark its 15th year. Four days of events — from Oct. 13 to 16 — will involve restaurants and chefs for tastings, demos, lunches, dinners and so forth. New this year is a Champagne dim sum brunch led by the writer Molly Yeh, whose book “Home Is Where the Eggs Are” is included in the $225 ticket price. It will be on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 12:30 p.m., at Hutong, the high-end Chinese restaurant on East 58th Street. Another highlight is a lavish vegan dinner prepared by Lauren Von Der Pool, a chef to celebrities, with the chef and restaurateur JJ Johnson at the SoHo headquarters of God’s Love We Deliver, the festival’s charity partner, $295.
