This season marked the 40th anniversary of London Fashion Week, as established by the British Fashion Council in February 1984. While it was a season to celebrate and reflect on the storied history of British fashion, it’s clear there was very little looking back as designers worked to usher in the newest looks for Fall-Winter 2024. From fan favorites like Simone Rocha, JW Anderson, and Molly Goddard, to avant-garde up & comers Dilara Findikoglu and Chopova Lowena, and, of course, heritage stalwart Burberry, London designers were all about inventing new takes on classic silhouettes & luxurious materials.
