Tara Lynn Leifer and Dr. Ross Alan Clevens were married Oct. 19 at 620 Loft & Garden, an events space at Rockefeller Center in New York. Rabbi Ronald Broden officiated.
The bride, 42, works in New York as an internet marketing consultant for ReachLocal, an online marketing and advertising solution provider based in Los Angeles. She graduated from Ithaca College.
She is the daughter of Sandria P. Leifer of West Orange, N.J., and the late Larry L. Leifer. The bride’s father was the managing partner of Leifer and Associates, a law firm specializing in medical malpractice in Maplewood, N.J. Her mother was a stay-at-home parent.
The groom, 56, is a facial plastic surgeon and the founder of Clevens Face and Body Specialists, a plastic surgery group practice with offices in Melbourne, Fla., and Merritt Island, Fla. He is the founder of Face of Change, a nonprofit organization that provides medical, education and hunger relief programs to the underserved locally, as well as medical mission trips to East Africa to perform facial surgeries and other surgical procedures. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation in Melbourne. He graduated summa cum laude from Yale and received a medical degree, manga cum laude, from Harvard. He completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
He is a son of the late Adelle Clevens and Bernard M. Clevens, who both lived in Sherborn, Mass. His father owned a chain of home furnishing stores throughout New England. His mother was a stay-at-home parent.
The groom’s previous marriage ended in divorce.
The couple met in 2016 in Las Vegas at a plastic surgery conference.
