Stephanie Tova Ginsberg and Zachary Benjamin Kaplan are to be married Aug. 4. Rabbi Jerry Cutler is to officiate at the Bel-Air Bay Club in Los Angeles.
The couple met at the University of California, Irvine, though they didn’t begin dating until 2015, after both had graduated.
Ms. Ginsberg, 32, was until June a marketing manager at Envy Medical, a skin care company in Long Beach, Calif.
She is a daughter of Mary-Jane Ginsberg and Simon R. Ginsberg of Vancouver, British Columbia. The bride’s parents own the Blue Monkey Tropical Collection, a snack and beverage company in Vancouver.
Mr. Kaplan, 32, is a financial adviser in the financial advisory unit of Wells Fargo; he works in the Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., branch of the bank. He also received an M.B.A. from U.C. Irvine.
He is the son of Eva M. Kaplan and Craig S. Kaplan of Los Angeles. The groom’s mother is a neonatal intensive care nurse at the West Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Los Angeles. His father is a financial adviser in the Beverly Hills, Calif., office of Morgan Stanley.
