Stephanie Gail Cohen and Joshua David Helmrich were married May 4 at the JW Marriott Turnberry Miami hotel in Aventura, Fla. Rabbi Richard Polirer officiated.
Mrs. Helmrich, 34, is head of sales at Resy, a restaurant technology start-up company in New York. She graduated magna cum laude from Tufts.
She is a daughter of Cynthia J. Cohen and Dr. Dennis N. Cohen of Worcester, Mass. The bride’s father is a general dentist at the Gardner Community Health Clinic in Gardner, Mass. Her mother retired as a teacher in the Gardner Public School District.
Mr. Helmrich, 32, is a director in the media and business development group at the National Football League in New York. He graduated from Yale.
He is the son of Barb Helmrich and Joel Helmrich of Pittsburgh. The groom’s father is a corporate bankruptcy lawyer at Dismore and Shohl, a law firm in Pittsburgh. His mother retired as a perfusionist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, also in Pittsburgh.
The couple met at a Manhattan restaurant in April 2010 during a party marking the eve of the N.F.L. draft.
