Shruti Sehgal and Dr. Julian Kravtin Horwitz were married May 25 at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah. Rabbi David Levinsky officiated. Earlier in the day, Pandit Vineet Chander led a ceremony with Hindu influences.
Ms. Sehgal, 30, is a vice president for technology and innovation clients at BerlinRosen, a public relations firm in New York. She graduated from Barnard College.
She is a daughter of Neeta Sehgal and Sunil Sehgal of Oakton, Va. The bride’s father is the chief executive of Ascend Therapeutics, a specialty pharmaceutical company in Herndon, Va. Her mother is an independent makeup artist and jewelry designer.
Dr. Horwitz, 31, is a fifth-year general surgery resident at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He graduated from Emory University and received a medical degree from N.Y.U.
He is the son of Patricia D. Kravtin and Jonathan S. Horwitz of Boston. The groom’s father is the principal executive officer at Putnam Mutual Funds, a financial services company in Boston. The groom’s mother provides expert-witness testimony on economic issues in law suits involving the telecommunications industry.
The couple met in 2015 through the dating app Bumble.
