Sherilyn Michele Notte and Jason Brown Tuthill were married March 14 at the First Reformed Church of Pompton Plains in Pompton Plains, N.J. Pastor Dave Gustavsen, who was ordained by the Dallas Theological Seminary, performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Tuthill, 34, is a senior manager consultant to the pharmaceutical industry at Deloitte Digital in New York. She graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond and received an M.B.A. from N.Y.U.
She is a daughter of Jill M. Notte and Jerry J. Notte of Fairfield, N.J. The bride’s father owns an engineering consulting firm in Fairfield that bears his name. Her mother is an associate director for strategic product solutions at IQIVA Technologies, a company serving the health information technology and clinical research industries.
Mr. Tuthill, also 34, works as a national account manager for Coty, a beauty company based in New York. He graduated from Lehigh.
He is the son of Carol A. Tuthill and Lyle B. Tuthill of Orient, N.Y. The groom’s parents are both retired after 31-year careers at Procter & Gamble. The groom’s mother was the vice president for global diversity. His father was a principal research scientist. The groom’s father is now an owner of Oysterponds Shellfish, an oyster farm in Orient.
The couple met at a ski lodge in Stratton, Vt., in 2017.
