Serafima Krikunova and Sean Ryan McTigue were married May 3 in San Francisco. Judge Mark B. Simons officiated at the First Appellate District Court of Appeal. On May 16, the couple is to exchange rings and vows in a second ceremony at the Clare Island Light House in County Mayo, Ireland.
Ms. Krikunova, 32, works in San Francisco as an enforcement lawyer for the Securities and Exchange Commission. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, and received a law degree from Columbia.
She is the daughter of Yelena Krikunova and Konstantin Krikunov of Los Angeles. The bride’s father is a computer programmer for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Her mother is a real estate agent for Pinnacle Estate Properties in Los Angeles.
Mr. McTigue, 32, is a litigation partner in the law firm Bartko, Zankel, Bunzel & Miller in San Francisco. He graduated cum laude from the University of Utah and a received law degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
He is a son of Elaine J. McTigue and John W. McTigue of Martinez, Calif. The groom’s mother, who is retired, was a court reporter at the Contra Costa Superior Court of California in Martinez. His father, who is also retired, was the chief deputy district attorney for Contra Costa County.
The couple met in 2018 in San Francisco.
