Scot Brian Coughlin and David Kenneth Kesselman were married Nov. 7 at the Women’s National Republican Club in New York. Cyril K. Bedford, a retired civil court housing judge in New York, officiated. On Nov. 4 the couple took part in a ceremony at the same location, led by John Van Ness Philip, a friend of the couple.

Mr. Coughlin graduated from the Parsons School of Design in its architecture program. He also owns a planning and consulting firm in New York that bears his name. He is also a member of the programs and exhibitions committee of the Hill-Stead Museum and advisory member to the Building Expansion Committee of the Farmington Historical Society, both in Farmington, Conn. He is a son of the late Joyce E. Coughlin and the late Delbert L. Coughlin who lived in Bellevue, Wash.
Mr. Kesselman graduated cum laude from Boston University. He is a son of the late Edith M. Kesselman and the late William Kesselman, who lived in Highland Park, N.J.
The couple met in 1994 at a New York restaurant.
