Sarah Hanna Reingold and George Michael Roberts were married July 20 in Hague, N.Y.. Rabbi Daniel S. Horwitz officiated at the Northern Lake George Yacht Club.
Mrs. Roberts, 29, is the legislative director in the Washington office of Representative Haley Stevens, a Michigan Democrat. She graduated from Trinity College in Hartford.
She is a daughter of Abigail Petersen Reingold and Daniel A. Reingold of Scarsdale, N.Y. The bride’s father is the chief executive of Riverspring Health, a network of rehabilitation and home-care services for older adults in the Bronx, including the Hebrew Home at Riverdale. Her mother was the chief of the judiciary section of the New York State attorney general, in Manhattan, before becoming a stay-at-home parent.
Mr. Roberts, 30, is a founder and the managing principal of Civic Companies, a real estate development firm in Detroit. He graduated and also received a graduate certificate in real estate development from the University of Michigan.
He is the son of Shelley Dorfman Roberts and Jeffrey B. Roberts of Birmingham, Mich. The groom’s mother retired as the president and chief executive of the Community House, a community center in Birmingham. His father is an owner of Gorman’s Home Furnishings and Interior Design, a chain of stores with headquarters in Troy, Mich.
The couple met on the dating app Hinge in the summer of 2014; they had their first date in Manhattan, where both then lived.
