Sarah Faith Habib and Eric Joseph Elias were married June 1 at Plum Street Temple in Cincinnati. Rabbi Lewis H. Kamrass officiated.
Ms. Habib, 29, is the founder and the chief executive of Mission2Move, a chronic stress prevention program for children, in Cincinnati. She graduated from Tufts.
She is a daughter of Elissa J. Habib and Mitchell J. Habib of Cincinnati. The bride’s father is the founder and chief executive of FCM, a consulting firm in Cincinnati that helps global companies maximize their cost efficiency. Her mother, who was a stay-at-home parent, is the president of Issac M. Wise Temple, and on the board of Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region.
Mr. Elias, 34, works in Chicago and Cincinnati as a director at FCM, where he focuses on the organizational structures of its clients. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis.
He is a son of Linda L. Elias and Thomas J. Elias of West Chester, Ohio. The groom’s mother, who was a stay-at-home parent, was an accounting assistant in the 1980s at Dektas & Eger, an advertising firm, which was in Cincinnati. His father retired as the owner of Elias College Prospects in Cincinnati, which guides student athletes in applying to colleges and scholarships. He is now a consultant in technology and higher education in Cincinnati.
The groom’s previous marriage ended in divorce.
The couple, who were set up in January 2017 by a former colleague of Mr. Elias, and an employee of Ms. Habib’s father, met first on a professional basis after Mr. Elias reached out to Ms. Habib on LinkedIn for an 8 a.m. networking meet-up at a San Francisco coffee shop. The thinly disguised meet-up quickly turned into something more social, and he later asked her out. That evening Ms. Habib had dinner with a friend, who coincidentally dated him once, and predicted they would get married.
