Sara Nicole Nordstrand and Noah Quinby Bricker were married March 13 at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York. Dr. Scott Black Johnson, a senior pastor at the church, officiated.
The couple met at Davidson College, from which they graduated, the bride cum laude and the groom magna cum laude.
Mrs. Bricker, 27, is a litigation associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, a New York law firm. She also received a law degree magna cum laude from Fordham.
She is the daughter of Linda K Nordstrand and the Rev. David A. Nordstrand, both of Omaha. The bride’s father is a pastor at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Omaha. Her mother was an Omaha-based dental consultant before becoming a stay-at-home parent.
Mr. Bricker, 28, is a second-year student at Harvard Business School. In June, he is to begin working as a senior associate at American Securities, a private equity firm in New York.
He is the son of Diane W. Bricker and John A. Bricker of Dallas. The groom’s father, who is known as Pete, is a managing director at RGT Wealth Advisors in Dallas. His mother is a retired lawyer and partner in Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, a law firm, also in Dallas.
