About a year ago, Carlos Suarez, whose restaurants are in and around Greenwich Village, opened an eastern outpost of his Rosemary’s at the border of Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village. Adjacent to it he has now added an airy store with ample seating, selling sandwiches and other prepared food, pizza, pastries and ingredients made in-house like fresh pasta and condiments, some bearing his new label, La Bomba. “I felt it was something that the neighborhood could use, food that’s ready to take home and eat or take home and cook,” he said. Out front there’s a gelato cart for something on the spot.
