Robin Ann Moeller and Patrick Eugene Pope were married April 26 at the St. Martin of Tours Chapel at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York. The Rt. Rev. Kevin S. Brown, an Episcopal priest, performed the ceremony.
The bride, 43, is an associate professor of library science in the department of leadership and educational studies at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, from which she also received a master’s degree in library science. She received a Ph.D. in curriculum studies from Indiana University.
She is a daughter of Sandra L. Moeller of Des Moines and the late Dale P. Moeller.
The groom, 39, is the organist and director of music at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter in Charlotte, N.C. He graduated from the University of South Carolina and received a master’s degree in music and a Ph.D. in music from Indiana University.
He is the son of Lorraine S. Pope and Earnest E. Pope of Statesville, N.C.
The couple met in 2017 on Match.com.
