Rebecca Marie Gale and Jonathan Adam Noah were married July 5 at the Lodge at Stirling Ridge in Warren, N.J. The bride’s father, Russell H. Gale, officiated, having become a Universal Life minister for this event, with Scott I. Noah, the groom’s father, also leading the ceremony.
Mrs. Gale Noah, 29, is a wholesale manager in New York for Vhernier, an Italian jewelry company. She received an associate degree, in jewelry design, and a bachelor’s degree, in direct and interactive marketing, magna cum laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
She is also a daughter of Linda M. Jay, who lives with the bride’s father in East Brunswick, N.J. The bride’s father is the deputy director of Central Jersey Legal Services in New Brunswick, N.J. Her mother is an administrative supervisor for social work at a Middlesex County social services agency, also in New Brunswick.
Mr. Noah, also 29, is a current and development executive for talent and music at MTV International in New York, and produces original music programs. He graduated from the University of Arizona.
He is also a son of Loriann Weinberg Noah, who lives with the groom’s father, also in East Brunswick. The groom’s mother retired as a preschool teacher at Temple B’nai Shalom in East Brunswick. His father is the general counsel and chief compliance officer at Fieldpoint Private Securities, a private bank; he works in Greenwich, Conn., and in New York.
The couple met in middle school in East Brunswick, but didn’t begin dating until years later. The two became closer in 2011, after he graduated from college and took a job in New York and the two began commuting together. “Commuting turned into let’s grab dinner, into drinks, into we should catch a movie,” she said.
