Rebecca Louise Friedman and Zachary Thomas Philip Blume were married March 23 at Korakia Pensione, a resort in Palm Springs, Calif. Rabbi Dov Gartenberg officiated.
Ms. Friedman, 32, is a lawyer at Dropbox in San Francisco. She graduated summa cum laude from Whitman College and received a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
She is a daughter of Dr. Carol B. Sheckter and Dr. Jaime B. Friedman of Seattle. Her parents are both physicians with the private practice Hawthorne Hills Internal Medicine in Seattle.
Mr. Blume, 34, works in San Francisco as a founder and managing partner of Portal A, a digital content studio with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles, where he leads operations, growth and strategy. He graduated with honors from the University of Oregon.
He is the son of Kathryn W. Frank and James B. Blume of Berkeley, Calif. His mother, who is retired, was a clinical psychologist in private practice in Berkeley. His father is the founder and chief executive of Blume Capital Management, an investment management firm in Berkeley.
The couple met in 2017 at a speakeasy bar in San Francisco and made their relationship official two weeks later.
