Dr. Rachel Mary Pruitt and David Harlan Rosenblatt were married Sept. 14 at Trail’s End Camp in Beach Lake, Pa. Cantor Eric Schulmiller officiated.
The bride, 30, is a fourth-year neurosurgery resident at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y. She graduated from the University of California, Davis and received a medical degree from Hofstra.
She is a daughter of Dr. Cynthia Cook-Pruitt and Paul L. Pruitt of Half Moon Bay, Calif. The bride’s father retired as a chemistry teacher at Crystal Springs Uplands School, a middle and high school in Hillsborough, Calif. Her mother is a veterinary ophthalmologist in San Francisco.
The groom, 29, is a senior talent acquisition recruiter at Publicis Media in New York. He is also a staff writer for the Game of Thrones fan website WatchersontheWall.com. He graduated from Muhlenberg College and received a master’s degree in school guidance counseling and personnel services from Fordham.
He is a son of Susan Jane Miller and Daryl M. Rosenblatt of Port Washington, N.Y. The groom’s mother, a lawyer, serves on the National Libraries Council at Washington University in St. Louis. His father, an architect, is a partner in Emkay Management, a real estate management firm in Jericho, N.Y.
The couple met on Tinder in November 2015.
