Rachel Spencer Pohl and Jesse Immanuel Rosenthal were married May 4 at the home of the bride’s family in Winter Park, Fla. The bride’s father, who is a notary public, officiated.
The couple met in 2015 at a housewarming party in San Francisco, then were reintroduced a few months later by a mutual friend.
Ms. Pohl, 29, is a partnerships and product manager in the education unit of Unity Technologies, a two- and three-dimensional software development platform in San Francisco. She graduated cum laude from Hamilton College and received a master’s degree in communication, culture and technology from Georgetown.
She is a daughter of Joan T. Pohl and Frank L. Pohl of Winter Park. The bride’s father is a shareholder in Gunster, a law firm; he works in the Winter Park office. Her mother retired as a speech pathologist in Winter Park.
Mr. Rosenthal, 35, is the vice president for corporate development for the health group of Hearst Communications and is based in San Francisco. He graduated with honors from the University of Chicago and received an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia.
He is the son of Faye S. Rosenthal and Jerry S. Rosenthal of Charlottesville, Va. The groom’s parents retired as organic vegetable farmers in Louisa, Va., and also were the administrators of a medical office building in Louisa.
