Pamela Lauren Chaliff and Alexander Smithberg Margolis were married March 7 at the Foundry at Puritan Mill, an events space in Atlanta. Rabbi Spike Anderson officiated.
The couple, both 30, met at Columbia, where each received an M.B.A. They are now management consultants in New York, the bride at Bain & Company, and the groom at Strategy&.
The bride, who graduated from the University of Georgia, is the daughter of Marla C. Chaliff and Dr. Michael I. Chaliff of Atlanta. Her father, a radiologist, is the former president of Diagnostic Imaging Specialists in Atlanta. Her mother is a principal at Dimension Development Partners, a commercial real estate development firm, also in Atlanta.
The groom, who graduated from American University in Washington, is the son of Ellen Smithberg and Kenneth A. Margolis of Chappaqua, N.Y. His mother retired as associate counsel for the New York State Office of Court Administration. His father is senior counsel and partner in Kauff McGuire & Margolis, a law firm, in New York.
