Nora Link Granville and Jesse James Edgerton were married May 11 at Glasshouses, an events space in New York. Peter H. Granville, the bride’s brother who was ordained by the American Marriage Ministries, officiated.
Ms. Granville, 33, is a vice president for risk evaluation at Cerberus Capital Management in New York. She graduated from the University of Chicago and received a master’s degree in statistics from Columbia.
She is a daughter of Julie R. Granville and Kevin J. Granville of London. The bride’s father is the Europe business editor in London for The New York Times. Her mother retired in February as a senior library assistant at the main library of the Sussex County library system, in Newton, N.J.
Mr. Edgerton, 38, is a senior economist and executive director for global economic and policy research in the investment banking unit of JPMorgan Chase, in New York. He graduated with distinction from Stanford and received a doctoral degree in economics from M.I.T.
He is the son of Alison H. Edgerton and David E. Edgerton of Backus, Minn. The groom’s mother retired as the technical services manager, in Pine River, Minn., for the Kitchigami Regional Library System. His father retired as a computer programmer in Backus for Rosen’s Diversified, an agricultural supplier in Fairmont, Minn.
The couple met on Tinder in December 2015, and had their first date in New York.
