Noelle Marissa Bucellato and Matt Kozar are to be married Aug. 18 in Somers, N.Y. The Rev. Rufus M. Kenny is to perform the ceremony at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, where he is a parochial vicar.
The bride, 30, will take her husband’s name. She is an assistant vice president in the market integrity group of the compliance department, in Manhattan, at BNP Paribas, a French bank. She graduated from the State University of New York, Stony Brook.
She is a daughter of Elizabeth A. Bucellato and Leonard T. Bucellato of Port Jefferson Station, N.Y. The bride’s father retired as a court officer, having attained the rank of sergeant, in the Kings County Supreme Court in Brooklyn. The bride’s mother is a scheduling manager in the neurology department at Stony Brook University Hospital.
The groom, 35, is a director for media relations and public affairs for the Mount Sinai Health System in Manhattan. He is also a general-assignment reporter at WCBS-TV in Manhattan. He graduated from Brown and received a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia.
He is a son of Kathleen R. Kozar and Russell T. Kozar of Naples, Fla. The groom’s parents are Realtors in a Naples real estate office of William Raveis.
The bride and groom met in 2017 on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel, and they had their first date in Manhattan. The groom said he saved the receipt from dinner, which was empanadas, because he knew he had met the woman he was going to marry.
