Nicole Suzanne Rosen and Michael Brandon Singer were married June 29 at the St. Regis in Manhattan. Rabbi Eric Eisenkramer officiated.
Mrs. Singer, 33, is a development officer at the Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation in the Bronx. She graduated cum laude from N.Y.U., from which she also received a master’s degree in real estate.
She is the daughter of Karen Rosen and Kenneth Rosen of Manhattan. The bride’s father, who works in Manhattan, is the chairman of the bankruptcy department at Lowenstein Sandler, a corporate law firm with offices in Palo Alto, Calif.; Washington; and Roseland, N.J. He is also the chairman of the New York City Opera, a member of the Lincoln Center Business Council and a board member of RWJ Barnabas Health. Her mother is a retired teacher who taught first grade at Grandview Elementary School in North Caldwell, N.J.
Mr. Singer, 34, is a procurement analyst at Unilever, the Anglo-Dutch consumer products company in Englewood Cliffs, N.J. He served in the Army from 2011 to 2015, deploying to South Korea during that time and attaining the rank of captain. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal. He graduated from Emory University and received a law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston.
He is the son of Lea Tatar and Robert Singer, both of Houston. He is also the stepson of Steven Tatar. The groom’s mother is a project director in the endocrine neoplasia department at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. His father is a lawyer in private practice, also in Houston.
The couple met in 2005 during a trip to Israel, then drifted apart before reconnecting in 2015.
