Art Cream is a new line of ice creams from a company in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, with containers splashed with designs by employees from the company working with artists. Luciano Vitali Alves, who founded the company last year and began selling pints this summer, developed a love for ice cream early, in his mother’s shop. His ice cream is made in partnership with Bob Carlson, who has worked with a number of companies. All the milk and cream is organic and comes from a single herd of cows in Wisconsin, where the ice cream is made. And many of the nine flavors are distinctive. Along with ultrasmooth chocolate and coffee, there are Indonesian honey-vanilla, cardamom, saffron honey-lemon, ginger and bourbon honey-pecan. They are sold at Fairway stores and elsewhere in the Northeast.
