Morgan Nicole Fancher and Capt. Owen David Morris were married Sept. 21 at the Grand Hotel in Fairhope, Ala. Ryan Knicely, a friend of the couple with became a minister with American Marriage Ministries for the event, officiated.
Mrs. Morris, 27, is a pharmacist at a Walmart in Savannah, Ga. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and received a Ph.D. in pharmacy from Auburn.
She is a daughter of Elizabeth D. Fancher and Matthew J. Fancher of Pelham, Ala. The bride’s father is a manager at Joe Powell & Associates, an information technology company in Pelham. Her mother is the personnel coordinator at Alabama Casters and Equipment, a metal fabricator in Birmingham.
Captain Morris, 34, is a judge advocate general attorney in the United States Army who is stationed in Savannah. He graduated from the University of Kansas and entered the Army as a signal officer. He also received a law degree from the College of William & Mary.
He is a son of Carleen M. Morris and Guy D. Morris of Leawood, Kan. His parents own and operate two restaurants, in Kansas, both named Adrian’s Café, one in Overland Park and the other in Lenexa.
The couple met on Match.com in October 2016.
