Molly Bridget Ford and Christopher James Nixon were married Dec. 7 at Indian Creek Country Club in Miami. Bishop J. David Dolence of the Old Roman Catholic Church performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Nixon, 30, is a director of digital business development at Viacom in New York. She graduated from Villanova.
She is a daughter of Maggie N. Ford and Mark P. Ford of Fairfield, Conn. The bride’s father had served as the chief revenue officer at Time in New York. He was also previously the president of Time magazine, Sports Illustrated, and Fortune, and is now a strategic adviser in the technology and media space. The bride’s mother will serve as a chair at the United States Senior Women’s Open at Brooklawn Country Club in 2020.
Mr. Nixon, 32, is a vice president for convertible bond sales at Nomura. He graduated from Georgetown.
He is the son of Marybeth Nixon and Peter Nixon of Duxbury, Mass. The groom’s parents are the former owners of Guthrie, Nixon & Smith, a commercial printing company in Boston.
The couple met in December 2015 at a bar near Villanova University.
