Meredith Cramer Perry and Amit Kumar Bedi were married Feb. 29 at the Van Benthuysen-Elms Mansion, an events space in New Orleans. Michelle Brous, a friend of the couple who became a Universal Life minister for the occasion, officiated along with Warren Reed, another friend of the couple.
Ms. Perry, 29, is the director of branded products at Sakara Life, a plant-based food and supplements company in New York. She graduated from Columbia.
She is a daughter of Alyson C. Perry and Dickson D. Perry of Watercolor, Fla.
Mr. Bedi, 32, works in New York as an investment professional at Allomer Capital Group, a private equity firm affiliated with Moore Capital Management in Los Angeles. He graduation from Columbia, from which he also received an M.B.A.
He is a son of Kiran Bedi and Ashwani K. Bedi of Edison, N.J.
The couple met in New York in March 2011, two years after they each graduated from Columbia, at a housewarming party hosted by mutual friends.
