Melanie Grace Diaz and Siddharth Sinha were married Aug. 2 at the Tribeca Rooftop in New York. Alisa Tongg, who was certified by the Celebrant Foundation and Institute, officiated.
The bride, 31, is a news producer at “Good Day New York,” a daily show on Fox 5 in New York. She was previously a television news producer at WVIT in West Hartford, Conn. She graduated from Syracuse.
She is the daughter of Brenda Diaz and Gabriel Diaz of Hackettstown N.J. The bride’s father retired from the Royal Bank of Canada in Jersey City, where he worked in financial services. Her mother is a nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, N.J.
The groom, 32, is a lawyer in private practice in Stamford, Conn. Before working as a lawyer, he was a segment producer at ESPN in Bristol, Conn. He graduated from the University of Texas, and received a law degree from the University of Connecticut.
He is a son of Kumud Kumari Sinha of Missouri City, Tex., and Anil Kumar Sinha of Lake Jackson, Tex. The groom’s mother is a certified public accountant in Missouri City. His father is a general surgeon in private practice in Lake Jackson.
The couple met in September 2015 on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel.
