Mary Glenn Keenan and Jesse William Green were married June 15 at St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue in New York. The Rev. Matthew Moretz, an Episcopal priest, performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Green, 36, is a ballet master with the New York City Ballet. She previously danced with the New York City Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet. She is studying for a bachelor of arts degree in English at Columbia.
She is a daughter of Pamela Carmichael Keenan and W. Howard Keenan Jr. of New York. The bride’s father is a founding partner in Yorktown Partners, a private equity firm in New York. Her mother was an investment banker before becoming a stay-at-home-parent.
Mr. Green, 37, is a senior producer for “Rachael Ray,” the daytime talk show in New York. He is also the executive producer and the director of “Broadway Sandwich” on PBS.
He is a son of Cheryl Kathleen Hyland of Denver and the late William C. Green. The groom’s mother is a retired mental health care administrator at Kaiser Permanente in Westminster, Colo. His father was a carpenter with Spectrum General Contractors in Denver.
The couple met in 2016 while on a shoot for “Rachael Ray,” during a segment that the groom produced and directed, featuring New York City Ballet dancers. The bride was the ballet master for the choreography that featured a selection from George Balanchine’s “The Nutcracker.”
