Marie Celeste Rehg and Kenneth Edward Notter III were married May 11. Chandler S. Howell, a friend of the couple who became a Universal Life minister for the event, officiated at Brookside Golf and Country Club in Columbus, Ohio.
The bride and groom met at Harvard, from which each received a law degree.
Mrs. Notter, 27, is a law clerk for Judge Algenon L. Marbley of the United States District Court in Columbus. She graduated from Ohio State.
She is the daughter of Denise L. Rehg of Columbus and Michael T. Rehg of Chico, Calif. The bride’s father is the chairman of the management department in the business college at California State University, Chico. Her mother is the executive director of the Columbus Symphony.
Mr. Notter, 25, is a law clerk for Judge Jerome A. Holmes of the United States Court of Appeals in Denver, and has his chambers in Oklahoma City. The groom graduated from American University.
He is the son of Lisa L. Notter of Chicago and Mr. Notter Jr. of Grimsby, Ontario. The groom’s mother is the vice president for advancement at the Chicago Theological Seminary. His father is the general manager in Toronto of BearCom Canada, a two-way radio supplier. The groom is also a stepson of Kathy L. Notter.
