Margaretta Midura and Jeffrey Stanton Masse were married May 4 in Brooklyn. The Rev. Thomas F. Brosnan performed the ceremony at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church, where he is the pastor.
Mrs. Masse, 27, is in the final semester of medical school at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in Hempstead, N.Y. In June, she is to begin an internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, and in July 2020 is to begin her dermatology residency in the Northwell hospital system. She graduated from Yale. In 2011, she and her dance partner were national champions in an amateur ballroom dance competition, and she represented the United States at the world championships in 2008 and 2010.
She is the daughter of Anna Pietrzyk Midura and Zbigniew J. Midura of Maspeth, Queens. The bride’s father is the director of operations at Karp Associates, a specialty door maker in Melville, N.Y. Her mother is a home health aide, in Queens, for the Jewish Association Serving the Aging.
Mr. Masse, 26, is an associate in investment banking at Evercore, an advisory company in Manhattan. He graduated summa cum laude and received a master’s degree in finance from the University of Florida. He is also a mentor through Student Sponsor Partners in Manhattan.
He is the son of Charlene S. Masse and Stephen J. Masse of Brookhaven, Ga. Both parents are financial consultants in Brookhaven.
The couple met in 2015 through the dating app Tinder, and had their first date in Manhattan.
