She is a founding ensemble member of 360 Repertory Theater Company in Manhattan, of which her father is the artistic director. She graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse.
She is the daughter of Leslie R. Dennis and Thom Fogarty of Manhattan. He also wrote “Lillian Smith’s Strange Fruit,” an adaptation of Ms. Smith’s play “Strange Fruit,’’ performed in 2015 at Piedmont College. The bride’s mother is the curriculum production manager at Morningside Center for Teaching Social Responsibility in Manhattan.
Mr. Prover, also 32, is a professional trumpet player and teaches privately. In March he played with Lee Fields & the Expressions at the Van Morrison tribute at Carnegie Hall, and in 2017 with Wynton Marsalis at Jazz at Lincoln Center. He also leads, plays trumpet and does vocals for Sneak Thievery Orchestra. He graduated from the University of Florida and received a master’s degree in music from N.Y.U.
He is the son of Andrea B. Prover and Stanley L. Prover of Boca Raton, Fla. Until 2004, the groom’s mother was a purchasing manager for signage and facilities equipment at Alamo and National Car Rental in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. His father retired as a sales associate in the women’s shoe department at Macy’s in Boca Raton.
