Louisa Kathryn Ferguson and Lukasz Mosakowski were married June 27 at City Hall in Brooklyn. A staff member of the clerk’s office officiated.
On July 5, the couple will take part in an outdoor celebration ceremony at Lazienki Palace, a park in Warsaw.
The couple met at Princeton, from which they graduated, the bride magna cum laude.
The bride, 29, is a senior business strategist at Huge, a digital marketing agency in Brooklyn. She also received an M.B.A. from N.Y.U.
She is a daughter of Anne McCauley and Thomas Ferguson of Boston. The bride’s mother is the David H. McAlpin professor of the history of photography and modern art in the art and archaeology department at Princeton. Her father is the director of research and a member of the advisory board for the Institute for New Economic Thinking in Manhattan. He is also a professor emeritus of political science at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
The groom, also 29, is a group product manager for Planning Care at Oscar Health Insurance in Manhattan.
He is the son of Elżbieta Maksymiuk and Paweł Mosakowski of Manhasset, N.Y. The groom’s mother works as the head of risk at Athanor Capital, a Manhattan-based hedge fund. His father is the founder and principal of Summit Place Advisers, an institutional investment and risk consulting firm in Manhasset.
The couple met during their first week at Princeton and developed a close friendship, but they did not start dating until five years later.
