Lindsey Elisabeth Kelleher and Zachary Eric Herlands were married May 11 at the Hudson Opera House in Hudson, N.Y. Samantha J. Yantko, a friend of the couple who became a Universal Life minister for the event, officiated.
Mrs. Herlands, 31, is a human resources generalist at Etsy, the online marketplace, and works in Brooklyn. She graduated from Wesleyan University.
She is a daughter of Janet Ford Kelleher and Dennis J. Kelleher of Needham, Mass. The bride’s father retired as a vice president at what was then the Bank of Boston in Boston. Her mother was a computer programmer for Shawmut Bank, also in Boston, and then was a stay-at-home parent.
Mr. Herlands, 34, is a staff lawyer in Manhattan for the National Labor Relations Board, which enforces federal labor laws. He graduated from Cornell and received a law degree from Tulane.
He is a son of Susan Hodin Herlands and Scott A. Herlands of Clarks Summit, Pa. The groom’s mother is an owner and the president of My Mother’s Delicacies, a wholesale bakery in Scranton, Pa., that specializes in rugelach. The groom’s father is a partner in Herlands & Levine Law Firm, which has offices in Scranton and Carbondale, Pa.
The couple met in 2015 through the dating app Bumble, and had their first date in Manhattan.
