Lauren Olivia Youngman and John Henry Bartnicki were married March 9 at the SmogShoppe, an events space in Culver City, Calif. Michael Cavalluzzi, a cousin of the groom who received a one-day status as a marriage officiant by Los Angeles County, officiated.
The bride, 32, is an associate specializing in family law at Youngman Reitshtein, a law firm in Beverly Hills, Calif. She graduated from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., and received a law degree from George Washington University.
She is the daughter of Barbara J. Youngman and Gary Youngman of Los Angeles. She is also the granddaughter of the comedian Henny Youngman.
The groom, 33, is a film and television producer in Los Angeles. He was a producer on “The Jungle Book” movie in 2016. He graduated from Boston University.
He is a son of Dana Ormerod of Boise, Idaho, and John J. Bartnicki of Los Angeles.
The couple met in November 2014 at a mutual friend’s birthday party in Los Angeles.
