Lauren Dana Glasky and Marc Laurence Silberman were married July 4 at Oceanbleu in Westhampton Beach, N.Y. Cantor Rebecca Garfein officiated.
The couple met at Cornell, from which the bride graduated cum laude and the groom magna cum laude.
Ms. Glasky, 28, is a product manager at Capital One in Manhattan. She also received an M.B.A. from Cornell Tech, also in Manhattan.
She is the daughter of Bonnie Glasky and Joel Glasky of Manhattan. The bride’s father is an investment banker and a senior adviser at Financo, a retail and consumer investment bank in Manhattan. He also serves as the vice chairman of the LaGuardia Community College Foundation and sits on the board of the Harvard Business School Club of New York. Her mother retired as a senior sales executive at IBM in Manhattan.
Mr. Silberman, 29, is the chief of staff to the chief executive of Extend Fertility, a Manhattan-based start-up company focused on women’s health and fertility preservation. He also sits on the associate board of Minds Matter NYC, the New York chapter of a national education-focused volunteer organization.
He is a son of Shelli Silberman of Delray Beach, Fla., and the late Robert Silberman. The groom’s mother is a retired teacher at Public School 135 in Queens Village, Queens.
