Lauren Adele Braswell and O’Ryan Seymour Smykle were married May 18 at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club, an events space in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. The Rev. Roxanne R. Birchfield, an evangelical Christian minister, officiated.
Mrs. Smykle, 33, is a principal in the public affairs department at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, an investment firm in Manhattan. She graduated from Rutgers and received an M.B.A. from Columbia.
She is the daughter of Adele J. Braswell and Walter M. Braswell of Venice, Fla.
Mr. Smykle, 31, is an information technology support specialist at the Shames Jewish Community Center on the Hudson in Tarrytown, N.Y. He is also the owner of Aquatic Entertainment, a Manhattan record label that specializes in an ambient electronic music. He is studying for a bachelor’s degree in information systems at Fordham.
He is the son of Jean A. Smykle and Seymour S. Smykle of the Bronx.
The couple met in April 2015 through Tinder.
