Kiera Elizabeth Lewis and Coridon Nicholas Bratton were married May 18 at the Marble House Project, an artist’s residency in Dorset, Vt. Mary Elise Gerisch, who was ordained by First Nations Ministry, officiated.
Mrs. Bratton-Lewis, 30, owns Critical Findings, an independent television and film production company in New York and Boston, for which she also serves as a producer. In August, she will become a screenwriting fellow at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. She graduated magna cum laude from Ithaca College.
She is a of daughter Lynn P. Lewis of Brattleboro, Vt., and James M. Lewis of Chester, Vt. The bride’s father retired as a senior project manager for the Army Corps of Engineers in Keene, N.H. Her mother retired as a social worker and women’s rights advocate in Brattleboro.
Mr. Bratton, who is 32 and known as Cory, owns A Vermont Table, a catering company and restaurant in Brattleboro, for which he serves as executive chef. He graduated from Clark University, where he also received a master’s degree in teaching.
He is a son of Leah Shatavsky Bratton and Theodore Farren Bratton, also of Brattleboro. The groom’s mother retired as the director of the Little School, a prekindergarten in Windham, Vt. His father, who worked remotely from Brattleboro, retired as a custom applications software engineer for Pearson Education, a maker of scholastic database software based in London.
The couple met as high school students in 2005 when a mutual friend who drove them both home in his beat-up Honda Civic, introduced them in the car.
