Katherine Kane Lewin and Alexander William Stillman were married Sept. 7 at the Storm King Art Center, an open-air sculpture museum in Cornwall, N.Y. Skyler Okey, a friend of the couple who became a minister with American Marriage Ministries for the event, officiated.
The couple met at the University of Southern California, from which each graduated.
Ms. Lewis, 28, is the deputy editor at the Infatuation, a restaurant review and recommendation website based in New York.
She is the daughter of Dr. Anne E. Kane of Bay City, Mich., and Robin P. Lewin of Los Angeles. The bride’s father is the owner, executive producer, and creative director of Authentica Media, a Los Angeles-based production company specializing in video content. Her mother is a sociology professor at the University of Houston-Downtown and the author of “Constructing Irish National Identity” (Palgrave Macmillan, 2011).
Mr. Stillman, also 28, is a second-year associate in the New York office of Gunderson Dettmer, a law firm based in Redwood City, Calif., where he represents start-ups and venture capital firms. He received a business and law degree from N.Y.U.
He is the son of Kellie F. Williams and Lennard W. Stillman of Salt Lake City. The groom’s mother was a founder of the law firm Corporon & Williams in Salt Lake City, where she focused on family law. His father is an independent consultant in Salt Lake City, where he specializing in the takeover and administration of insolvent insurance companies.
