Julie Michelle Silverbrook and Dr. Adam Scott Footer were married Oct. 27 at Hotel Monaco in Washington. Rabbi Arnold Saltzman officiated.
The bride, 31, is the executive director of the Constitutional Sources Project, a nonprofit organization in Washington that provides historical sources related to the creation, ratification and amendment of the Constitution.
She graduated summa cum laude from George Washington University, where she received the Distinguished Scholar Award, the highest award given to a student graduating from the arts and sciences college. She also received a law degree from William & Mary.
She is a daughter of Dr. Randi M. Kodroff of Bethesda, Md., and Dr. Robert M. Silverbrook of Richboro, Pa. The bride’s father is an internal medicine doctor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Associates in Hamilton Township, N.J. Her mother is a practicing primary care doctor for Comprehensive Primary Care, a primary care medical practice in Chevy Chase, Md.
The groom, 34, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist for Capital Women’s Care in Rockville, Md. He graduated from Emory University, and received a medical degree from George Washington University.
He is the son of Marla H. Footer and Dr. Richard N. Footer of Bethesda. The groom’s father, a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist, owns the Footer Obstetrics and Gynecology Group, a private practice in Bethesda, for which the groom’s mother is the office manager.
The couple were introduced in 2013, in Washington, by the bride’s twin.
