Julianne Adele Tarallo and Kevin David McAlister were married Aug. 31 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hilton Head Island, S.C. John DeWolfe, a Roman Catholic deacon, performed the ceremony.
Mrs. McAlister, 30, is a communications manager in Washington for Google. She previously worked in Washington as the communications director for Senator John McCain. She graduated magna cum laude from Colgate.
She is the daughter of Anne P. Tarallo and Robert E. Tarallo of Easton, Mass. The bride’s father is the vice president for regulatory affairs, quality control and quality assurance at Lyne Laboratories, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Brockton, Mass. Her mother, is the director of faith formation at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Easton.
Mr. McAlister, 31, is a policy communications manager in Washington for Facebook. He graduated from Bucknell.
He is a son of Elizabeth Zarcadoolas McAlister and David A. McAlister of Westfield, N.J. The groom’s mother, a stay-at-home parent, was previously a hospital administrator at the Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington. His father is the global director, transport and infrastructure in New York, for WSP, an international engineering and advisory firm.
The couple met in 2013 through mutual friends in Washington.
