Jerica Saralaraine Chosich and Andrew Michael Zucker were married April 26. The Rev. Jeffrey L. Maszal, a minister of the United Church of Christ, officiated at Potomac Point Vineyard and Winery in Stafford, Va., with Justin M. Barasky, a friend of the couple, leading the ceremony.
Ms. Chosich, 27, is a political fund-raising consultant in Washington, and is also the finance director, in Denver, for Representative Diana L. DeGette, Democrat of Colorado. The bride graduated from the University of Colorado.
She is the daughter of Greta S. Chosich and Michael Chosich of Pueblo, Colo. The bride’s father is a heavy-equipment subcontractor in Pueblo. Her mother manages the family’s residential rental properties in Pueblo.
Mr. Zucker, 32, is the federal media relations director in Washington for Everytown for Gun Safety, an advocacy organization. He graduated from Ohio University.
He is a son of Deirdre A. Garvey of Cleveland and Jack A. Zucker of South Euclid, Ohio. The groom’s mother is a software designer in Cleveland for Harris Healthcare Systems, a medical software developer in Ottawa. His father is a software designer in the Mayfield Heights, Ohio, office of Rockwell Automation, a provider of industrial controls and information technology.
The couple met in 2015, when both were working in Denver on the re-election campaign of Senator Michael Bennet, Democrat of Colorado.
