Jena Michelle Landis and Christopher Scott Parkinson are to be married May 12 at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds in Greensboro, Ga. Jonathan Campbell, the bride’s brother-in-law who became a United National Ministry minister for the event, is to officiate.
Ms. Landis, 32, is the director of financial reporting at Greenhill, an investment bank in New York. She graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Ark., and received a master’s degree in accountancy from Vanderbilt.
She is a daughter of Rhonda G. Landis and Jerry D. Landis of Searcy. The bride’s father is a private pilot for the Stephens Group, a private investment firm in Little Rock, Ark. Her mother is a home designer and contractor in Searcy.
The groom, 34, is a managing director in New York at Credit Suisse, a Swiss investment bank, where he is responsible for the firm’s research on global chemicals and agriculture. He graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y.
He is the son of Theresa S. Parkinson of Rockville, Md., and the late Peter D. S. Parkinson. The groom’s mother, who is retired, was an English teacher at Radnor High School in Radnor, Pa. His father was a professor of physics at the University of Pennsylvania and worked in aerospace research and development at General Electric in King of Prussia, Pa.
The couple met in 2016 through the dating app Bumble.
