Janna Katherine Wandzilak and Dr. John Luke Colucci were married Aug. 3 at Riverside Farm, an events space in Pittsfield, Vt. The Rev. Lara K-J Campbell, a Unitarian Universalist minister, officiated.
Mrs. Colucci, 27, is a summer associate in the Menlo Park, Calif., office of the Alumni Ventures Group, a venture capital firm. She graduated from Dartmouth and is to begin studying for an M.B.A. at Stanford in September.
She is a daughter of Deborah Lower Wandzilak and Mark J. Wandzilak of Waxhaw, N.C. The bride’s father retired as the director for product and vendor management at American & Efird, a textile company in Mount Holly, N.C., and is now a supply-chain management consultant in Waxhaw. Her mother was a stay-at-home parent, and is now an oil painter whose work was shown most recently in April at the Ross Gallery in Charlotte, N.C.
Dr. Colucci, 28, is a captain in the United States Air Force, and is in the third year of a family-medicine residency at the David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, Calif. He graduated from Fordham and received a medical degree from the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York.
He is the son of Josephine D. Colucci and Robert J. Colucci of Bethpage, N.Y. His father retired as an engineer, working on radar systems for the F-14 aircraft, at the Northrop Grumman facility in Bethpage. His mother was also an engineer at Northrop Grumman before becoming a stay-at-home parent.
The couple met in 2014 when mutual friends introduced them at a trivia night at the Village Pourhouse in New York.
