Janna Beth Levin and Matthew Edward Spaiser are to be married June 16 at the Briarcliff Manor in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. Rabbi Fishel Zaklos is to officiate.
The bride, 34, is a senior staff lawyer at Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation A in Williamsburg, where she represents low-income families and works to prevent evictions in housing court. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology and received a law degree from Fordham.
She is a daughter of Dr. Elise Rosen-Levin and Robert Levin of San Francisco. The bride’s father, who worked in San Francisco, retired as a senior analyst and expert witness for the California Public Utilities Commission. Her mother is a practicing pathologist at O’Connor Hospital in San Jose, Calif., as well as other hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The groom, 31, is a web designer at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan. He also created and runs the men’s clothing blog, “The Suits of James Bond.” He graduated from Boston University.
He is a son of Sheila Abrams Spaiser and Mitchell D. Spaiser of Briarcliff Manor. The groom’s mother retired as an architect for Russo & Sonder, an architecture firm in Manhattan. His father, also retired, owned White Plains Surgical Supply, a medical supplies business in White Plains.
The couple met on OkCupid in September 2016, and had their first date that same month at the Whitney Museum in Manhattan.
