Jacqueline Camille Langholtz and William Randolph Taylor were married June 1 at St. Paul’s Memorial Church in Charlottesville, Va. Will Peyton, an Episcopal priest, performed the ceremony, with Chris Morash, a Roman Catholic deacon, taking part.
The bride, 35, manages educational programs at Monticello, the historic plantation and home of Thomas Jefferson. She graduated from the College of William & Mary and received a master’s degree in museum studies from the University of Oklahoma. She is now studying for a doctorate in e educational leadership at the University of Virginia.
She is a daughter of Danielle Moretti-Langholtz and Harvey Joel Langholtz of Williamsburg, Va. Dr. Moretti-Langholtz is a lecturer in the department of anthropology and curator of Native-American Art at the College of William & Mary, where the bride’s father, a retired Coast Guard commander, is a professor of psychology. Dr. Langholtz is also a director of the international Peace Operations Training Institute in Williamsburg.
The groom, who is 33 and works in Charlottesville, is an assistant vice president and financial adviser at BB&T Scott & Stringfellow, a regional wealth management company based in Richmond, Va. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College, and is studying for an M.B.A. at Virginia Commonwealth University.
He is a son of Sandra Irwin Mirkil of Charlottesville and Harrison William Taylor of Keswick, Va. The groom’s mother is a grant reader for the Bama Works Fund of Dave Matthews, a charitable organization in Charlottesville. His father is a managing director at BB & T Scott & Stringfellow.
The couple met at Common House, a social club in Charlottesville, in summer 2017.
